CROSS HILL : Located at a walking distance of about 10 minutes from Damsang Guest House, Cross Hill has a history of its own. The cross in this point was erected by French Father Desgodin in the year 1882.  One can enjoy the mesmerizing views of Mt. Kanchanjunga and its range along with places of East Sikkim like Gangtok, Pakyong, Aaritar, Zuluk etc. from this very view point.

SACRED HEART CHURH : This Church located at Pedong was built under French Father Desgodin in the year 1882. Around 142 Years old Church is still imparting the blessings of Lord Jesus to the people of Pedong and its adjacent areas till the date.
It is located at a walking distance of about 5 minutes from Damsang Guest House.

SANGCHEN DORJEE MONASTERY : Built in 17th century by Bhutanese Authority, Sangchen Dorjee Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the hills of Darjeeling. Apart from its historical importance, this Monastery is also known for safeguarding the mummy of His Holiness Sabdrung Rimpoche. Tshe Tschu Tsham (Mask Dance) is an integral part of the monastery, which is celebrated in the month of March every year.
This historical monastery is located at a distance of 1,5 kms away from Damsang Guest House.

SAHID PARK : Located at a  distance of about 500 meters  from Damsang Guest House,  this park was built in the memory of Kargil War Martyr Palendra Rai , who breathed his last for Mother India during Kargil war in 1999. 
The view of Mt. Kanchanjunga from this view point is a treat to eyes.

Apart from the mentioned view points one can cover the nearby tourist destinations by vehicle in a day.

Sillery Gaon – 8 Kms, Ramdhura – 10 Kms, Chalsa Bunglow (Munsong)- 15 Kms, Delo Hills – 15 Kms, Lava – 20 Kms, Rishop – 22 Kms, Changay Falls – 40 Kms, Lepcha Heritage Home – 6 Kms, Rishi River – 15 Kms,  Aaritar (Sikkim) –  30 Kms

Pedong is suitable place to the guests who are planning to visit Gangtok via Rongli, Phadamchen, Zuluk, Nathang, Old & New Baba Mandir, Changu Lake, Nathula Pass etc.
